Lesson : Using Talents: It's A Wind-Up

This lesson explores the importance of communication and how technology can play a part in creating a fairer world. The PowerPoint tells us how Trevor Baylis used his skills to design and build a wind-up radio after hearing about that some people in Africa couldn’t access information about Aids via the airwaves because they didn’t have electricity. It includes a video of an interview with the inventor. Suitable for all KS2.
