We’re excited to announce that registrations are open for Our Generation. Our Vote. – a political education programme and mass-scale election for children and young people, running alongside the next UK general election.
Young people have told us that they can feel disconnected from politics, but political decisions made by adults directly shape their lives.
Our Generation. Our Vote. will give young people under 18, across England and Wales, the opportunity to cast a vote for parliamentary candidates in their area after engaging with workshops, events and youth-friendly manifestos designed to build their understanding of the political process.
This free project is an exciting opportunity to support children and young people to have their say and share their views on the issues they care about.
Teachers and youth practitioners will be supported with access to adaptable resources, curriculum linked session plans and guidance on how to take children and young people through the process.
