My name is Pete, I am 9 years old.
My favourite game is 'IT‘ and I’m into board games and computer games. I like to be with my friends because I get lonely on my own.
I like school but I hate maths because it confuses me.
Sometimes I worry about being teased.
My 92 year old Neighbour

Max is my neighbour. He is 92 years old, and when I think of it, even though he is dead old he is one of the funniest, craziest and best people I know.

Until two years ago he used to ride around town on a moped (don't let him ever hear me say that "IT IS NOT A MOPED, PETER, IT IS A MOTORBIKE!" he used to say...) He had to give it up eventually because no one would renew his licence, he never forgave them.

Max is a massive flirt, he knows all the ladies on our street and I don't know how he does it but they all bake cakes for him! Go round to Max's on any given day and you will find a cake on the table: lemon cake, Victoria sponge, his favourite chocolate mud cake! That's the one my granny makes of course. Whenever she comes to stay, she's always over at Max's baking, watching old films, playing backgammon, and giggling LOADS.

She says : "Ay that Max, you can't say no to him, I blame it on that twinkle in his eye." I don't know what she means but trust me, he has that lady and half the street eating out of the palm of his hand!

Even if your disabled you can still have fun and don`t worry if people tease you, just ignore them and eventually they`ll give up.

Hi Pete. Just be who you are inside and ignore anyone who trys to get you down. I am sure your Grandma and Grandad will be fine and if they don't visit you as much that doesnt mean they dont love you. :)
